I have a '02 1.6 petrol Stilo with unsteady idle. It's most obvious when the engine is warm and the unsteadiness goes up to around 2500rpm. Sometimes, particularly after breaking harder, it tends to go into a very strong variation, from 500 to 1000, back and forth, and sometimes in drops down until the engine dies.
